About me
Hi! I'm Clara, though in the art world you may know me as Clara de Luna, an illustrator specialised in book covers. My work comes from a passion for drawing, for the stories that make us feel too much and for those fictional worlds where, for a moment, we can get lost and forget about everything else.
I've always felt a special connection with illustration and with the power an image has to convey emotions, tell stories and spark curiosity. For me, drawing isn't just about making a pretty picture, but about finding a way to capture what makes a story unique: its characters, their relationships, their conflicts and those little details that, even if they sometimes go unnoticed, mean so much to the people who imagined them.
My Fine Arts training has allowed me to develop my own artistic eye and explore different forms of visual expression. Today I focus most of my work on editorial illustration, especially covers for fantasy, romantasy, romance and dark fantasy novels. These genres let me experiment with atmosphere, colour, composition and symbolism to build images that don't just depict a story, but also convey its essence.
